Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimmyenezon September 2, 1966)[3][4][5]), is an American and Mexican actress. In Mexico she started her career with the role as Teresa in the television series (1989-1991) and El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she received an Ariel Award. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were only some of her numerous Hollywood credits. Hayek's portrayal of Frida Kahlo as a painter in Frida (2002) which was a biographical film she produced, earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[6for the role of Frida Kahlo in Frida (2002). Also, she was awarded her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek continued to produce and acted in action-oriented film Once Upon a Time in Mexico later on in her career.
