Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multi-cultural family. Her birthplace was within South London. The mother of her child is English and her father Nigerian. Her family was raised in the south of a London council estate and attended The Brit School at age 14. She went to an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained an acting BA. While attending the school and performing in numerous stage productions, such as the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her career as an actress through the film Storm Damage. Since then, she has been a guest star in Teachers, Doctors, Casualty, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe made her debut motion-picture role in the Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. The following year, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, the actress was offered Bambi as the main character in ITV2's comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. Performance credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009 with the dramatic The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before being ended on The CW. In February of 2011 she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. After being a regular for the first two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that she would depart the series following an appearance as a guest in the pilot episode of the third season. Between 2014 and 2016she appeared in Salem on the CW as Tituba. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend for many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. The two have collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl in the past, and Goldberg is also a part of the cast on the TV show Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Her parents Roy and Patty, as well as her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's family, which is all athletic, played baseball in summers and played hockey during winter. Ashley did not have the ability to actually walk. She danced. When she reached two and a half when she was a little older, she was a part of Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance immediately after that. Ashley continued to dance competitively until her high-school graduation at the top levels of competitions, such as ballet, tap, Jazz Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and many more. Top soloists at big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
