Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the combat sports. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to win three fights consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were defeated within the first five minutes. Ladd returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her via an unanimous vote to remove an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd won her next fight against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in the year 2015, when she signed with Invicta FC. The InvictaFC11 fight was her debut professional fight. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to go up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability defeated McGill in the first round, and she was able to stop her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at weight of catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd had missed weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina with a pound and grind to her, winning the TKO in second round. Her next fight, against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd was victorious in round one and received the Performance of the Night bonus. Her first fight of note came during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both the fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and each fighter getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her defeat was decided by majority verdict.
